DESCRIPTION:Celebrated 96th anniversary of the Republic\, which the great genius Mustafa Kemal Atatürk called “my greatest work”! Atatürk gave freedom to a country under foreign occupation\, created a nation and established laws of equal citizenship for everyone. \nAtatürk’s Republic means that the people have their own rule. It means freedom.\nAtatürk’s Republic is freedom of thought\, freedom of mind.\nAtatürk’s Republic is secularism. Atatürk’s Republic is the mind\, the science\, the modernization.\nAtatürk’s Republic is provoke\, education for people\, opportunities for people\, community centers for people\, the village institutes\, and valued citizens.\nAtatürk’s Republic is the state and the private sector fighting hand in hand for Turkey’s development. It’s about claiming national assets.\nAtatürk’s Republic is to value education\, to be literate and to educate girls.\nAtatürk’s republic is an educated woman who reads\, works\, deals with science\, art\, sports and politics.\nAtatürk’s Republic is to overcome ignorance and poverty. Atatürk’s Republic is Turkish\, awareness of the language.\nAtatürk’s Republic is art\, artist\, respect for art and artist. \nAtatürk entrusted the Republic to then young people of the nation with these words: “The rising new generation\, the future is yours. We founded the Republic\, you are the ones to elevate it and keep it alive.” and in his address to the youth: “Even under these circumstances and in these conditions\, it is your duty to save the Turkish independence and the Republic!” \nWe\, as people who follow in the footsteps of contemporary\, rational and scientific thought\, take an oath to leave the same universal mindset to the generations behind us. Atatürk’s own words are the best guide for us in this regard: “Turkish Nation\, you should know that the Republic of Turkey cannot be the land of sheikhs\, dervishes\, disciples\, and their members. The truest and real cult is the way of civilization. To do what civilization dictates is enough to be human.” As we celebrate the 96th anniversary of the proclamation of our Republic\, we promise to continue to promote the great Ataturk’s philosophy of peace and humanity all over the world with great pride and honor.
