Nurgul Kalyoncu Balimtas (Board Member) has a B.S. in Chemistry from the Middle East Technical University in Ankara, a M.S. in Chemistry from the University of Kocaeli, and a M.S. in Education from Maryland.
She has been an advanced level and international baccalaureate chemistry teacher for the Montgomery Public School System since 2017. Previously she worked with the World Bank second industrial educational program to establish petro and industrial chemistry education programs in Turkey. She has received education and training from Ferris State University and Delaware University. She worked for Eskisehir Anadolu University and Kocaeli University in Turkey. Mrs. Balimtas authored and co-authored several research publications during her academic studies.
