The Atatürk World Platform (ADDP) Ordinary General Assembly Meeting was
held on 25 November 2023 in London England.
The 2nd Ordinary General Assembly Meeting of ADDP, of which the Ataturk Society of America is one of the founding members and which gained its legal status in Germany, was held in London, England hosted by the UK Ataturkist Thought Association, with the participation of representatives from 3 continents. Representatives of ADDP member associations attending the meeting stated that they were determined to continue their activities and work abroad without interruption despite the difficult conditions that Turkey and the whole world are in. They stated that they would continue their work by introducing the Ataturkist thought to children and young people in unity with the Ataturkist associations worldwide on the 7th anniversary of the Platform’s establishment.
At the meeting, care was taken to ensure that the General Assembly was not only a meeting for elections, but also a meeting where new and permanent ideas were produced in line with Ataturkist thought. The associations stated that they will support each other in joint studies and projects to be better known and better understood abroad and in using social media and technology more effectively.

Ataturk Society of America (ASA) was represented at the General Assembly Meeting and Elections by ASA’s Vice President Ilknur Boray. Ms. Boray was elected to the ADDP Board as the 1st Vice President of ADDP.
