“Furtherance of Atatürk Reforms” Atatürk Research Grant
ON 1999
The Executive Board launched a new project. It decided earlier in the year to initiate a Research Grant. Having prepared some rules for the operation of the Grant and formed a Scientific Committee to oversee the operation, the society established a fund of US $ 10,000 for this purpose.
The Atatürk Society of America Research Grant Scientific Committee will be composed of the following persons:
- Prof. Suna Kili, Bogazici University
- Prof. Talat Halman, Bilkent University
- Prof. Sabri Sayari, Georgetown University
- Expansion and Renovation of Village School in Anatolia by ASA
- ASA Educational Outreach
- Mehmetcik Fund Drive
- A Campaign to Donate Books to Libraries
- ASA donated gardening tools and machinery to the Anit-Kabir
- Book and Computer Donations to Gazi High School in Izmit
- A Campaign to Donate Books to Libraries
